Dusting off The Ten Speed

So - in lieu of my car (while it patiently waits for repairs) - I am tuning up David's ten-speed to get to the gym and run chores. So that means finding myself a helmet - which with my gigantohead is always a challenge. Actually sweaty off the ten speed after a hard work out at the gym is a good look for me. :)
(but as Edna Mode will tell you, "NO CAPES!")
It's just finding a helmet that matches my pearls and earrings that is always the pain-in-the-ass. (chortle)
I'm glad I'll be biking around Palo Alto and Mountain View and not the insane streets of San Francisco. I also need to outfit my helmet and handlebars with a light - and I'm trying to decide between the pedal power blinkage or a battery operated flood light. (Apparently they don't make a search light like a hollywood movie premiere for a bike helmet, who knew?)
