someone at corporate sent out an email this morning - suggesting that folks use "Eco Font" because it "The font uses tiny circles placed in the characters to cut down on ink costs. It is estimated to cut down the amount of ink usage by approximately 15 percent." and how it's even more amazing since it "has no affect on readability or legibility." They are actually suggesting that we type all our emails and powerpoints in this font.

and they are totally not kidding.
here is the font at 12pt:

I get the gimmick behind this - http://www.ecofont.eu/ecofont_en.html - I do - - but how about offering folks monitors so they can read business documents at real size vs. printing. How about moving to electronic documents and not printing at all?
What I see here is a business gimmick for businesses that are desperate to appear green - while not seeing the forest for the trees. literally.
