"customer service"
Jun. 30th, 2010 10:53 amSo I went online to book my flight to Seattle later in the month on Virgin Air - I hit the purchase button - and Virgin's website says "there is a problem with your credit card" - and no ticket is released. Meanwhile - Virgin charges my card the full flight cost to my card, TWICE!. It is now sitting on my bank account as a "pending" charge - locking up the funds so that I can't spend them on an actual ticket. My frustration level with both my bank and with Virgin Airlines is at RED ALERT critical. My bank says Virgin needs to send a cancellation order, and Virgin says it doesn't have a record of my card being used - and it's the bank's problem. Both of them using that "I'm very sorry to hear you are frustrated Sir" bullshit customerservicespeak.
The bank supervisor is trying to get the $700 in charges removed from my account. but I've been on hold for 20 minutes.
I'm in the mood to kill someone.
The bank supervisor - did indeed reverse the charges and block Virgin America.
I'll never try to fly Virgin again - they were completely rude and unacceptable.
