vacation - begins!

So - today David and I fly to Houston this morning to visit my brother Drew for the weekend. :) then onto Washington DC to stay with Jim and Joseph, and pal around DC with Michael and Miss Jarvis as well. :) Nine days on the road! It'll be grand to meet all of Drew's friends and a few people that live in Houston that will soon BE friends of Drew - and Darrell and David are driving down from Dallas to see us. (awesome dance inserted here) Then what can you say about relaxed unrushed time in DC? Museums, Monuments, History! We're staying with Jim and Joseph Adams-Dress - two of my most favorite guys in the universe. We'll meet David's ex Keith, tour the White House and Congress, boat down the Potomac to Mt. Vernon, and photograph EVERYTHING IN SIGHT! (giggle) plus I'll be cooking for our hosts - and for Michael and Brian. (Poor Kent is stuck out in Palo Alto our entire trip) it's going to be a fantastic nine day trip.

I asked Dave last night what he was most looking forward to on vacation - and he said without hesitation, "Going to a McDonalds and getting a McRib sandwich! They are back for a limited time and I don't want to miss out."

It's a good thing he's cute (and he's entirely serious about McRib excitement)
