Dave has a new job!

Dave is movin' on! He resigned his post of 22 years at Xerox Palo Alto Research Center - and starts at eBay as a Senior eBay Fellow (I'm not sure what that means - some kind of applied mathematical modeling, forecasting and the such) on the 29th.

He's been bringing home boxes - including several boxes filled with nothing but awards and patents and invention plaques during his time at PARC.

Dave is very excited! It's been really rewarding for him to put his career and resume out for a new job and get offered such a fine position. At Dave's level of expertise, these kinds of job transitions can be paralyzing. So it's been great to see him succeed and find a new professional challenge.
