Kateydog Adventure Wednesday! now with 20% more Sondheim....

Miss Kate's Uncle Tony joined us this morning on the adventure - he was at the coffee shop when we arrived - and decided to come along to Bernal Heights..... and at one point we ended up singing "Agony!" from Into The Woods together....

Tony is auditioning for the show at Theater by the Bay and is trying to convince me to audition for Cinderellas Prince/The Wolf. Anyway - singing makes Miss Kate dance and circle A LOT - she loves singing. So with two of us going at it - she was in puppy heaven.

Then a pair of lesbians came across Tony and I singing Sondheim to Miss Kate and proclaimed outloud that the scene powerfully and suddenly redefined being gay in San Francisco for them. LOL! A very funny moment - one moment it felt like we had the whole park to ourselves - and then - lesbians and their pugs - and a suddenly Gay⁴⁰⁰⁰⁰ moment was born.

"Diva"

Tonight I'm watching David's favorite movie, "Diva!" - a 1981 romantic thriller directed by Jean-Jacques Beineix. When 18-year-old Jules secretly tapes the concert of a superstar diva who refuses to be recorded, he accidentally winds up with another tape that identifies a top mobster involved in an international sex and drug ring. Jules is soon being chased through the streets of Paris by blackmailers, hit men and the police.

We'll see how it all turns out!
