in an email from my trainer:
Cut back on dairy, only non-fat dairy choices. Dairy has a lot of naturally occurring sugars. Lean Proteins only, chicken, fish, and lean lean beef cuts, no pork. Lots of veggies, not over cooked or fried. Lots of fruits. Only whole grains, complex carbs. No No No soda, candies, very limited refined sugars. Allow one day a week to have a treat, and don't cheat any other day, let that day be the one where you look forward to your ice cream and be strict and controlled with yourself. :) Okay now go and be gorgeous!
So it's back to a few months of the food diary - and learning to get rid of some of my worse diet habits. First off - I adore dairy - and will drink milk (as David puts it) "raw" and eat cheese as a snack often. The no pork means no bacon which saddens me a great deal - so I'll have to perhaps have bacon on my once a week treat rather than ice cream. A lot of what he says is common sense - but it is going to be good to diary and pay much closer attention. I was afraid he was going to say no coffee and no caffeine - he would have been soooooo fired. LOL!
