BREKKIES!

breakfast for me during the week is a cup of coffee and a protein bar - so being able to make breakfast and slowly enjoy it is a first-class treat in my book! Egg bagel with stawberry cream cheese, frankenstrawberries in homemade vanilla yogurt and mulberries from the farmers market and scramble. (and yes - a cupzilla of coffee!)

He turns to me the other day and asks if I had gotten over the glamour of the apple print plates and whether I wanted to go buy some new dishes for everyday use. I told him I had the burgundyware - and that I could unpack those - - and did so! :)

I had the great pleasure to meet BJ caestus and Phillip bugbearcub at my home for dinner tonight. We picked them up off the Caltrain - and while I finished dinner prep - Dave took them to Stanford to see the Rodin Garden and the New Guinea Sculpture Garden. Then Larry urbear and Randy showed up and we had DINNER. Serious Dinner. BBQ Chicken, BBQ Sweet Corn, BBQ sweet peppers, CousCousOrgasm Salad (a cous cous version of the Moonlight Tomato Quinoa salad I made on Bob's Kitchen a couple of weeks back. (now online at http://bobscooking.com) and topped it all off with a outrageous raspberry chocolate mousse dessert. We played Taboo (buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!) and laughed and chatted. Phillip and BJ are startlingly adorable in person - and I'm really glad we had them down. I hope to corral them into a MOMA stroll before they leave next Sunday.

Miss Kate went to the spa today to get her summer "do" - and while she pouted about it today - she'll be prancing around showing everyone how she's a seriously sexy doggy!
