The 30th Anniversary of AIDS - My 17th year with HIV

World AIDS Day to me is a powerful memorial day to remember the hundreds of brothers and sisters I've known, loved, admired, learned from and lost over the years.

I also use it as a day to stop - kiss the earth - and be thankful for having survived - and rededicating myself to making the best and the healthiest choices with the time that I'm allowed to still be here.

Come on Obama, grow some fucking balls here!

So - the Senate GOP are refusing to allow bills to the floor of the Senate till we extend the Bush Tax Cuts which is raping our economy to the tune of 25% of our current budget deficit.

Time for President Obama to give the GOP a primetime bitch slap. Call a primetime press conference declaring them the idiots that they are. To hell with "respectability" - call a press conference and say

"Who is to blame for the end of jobless benefits at Christmastime? The GOP...",

"Who is the insisting on extending tax cuts to the richest Americans at the expense of everyone else? The GOP".

"Who thinks that gays should be second-class citizens? The GOP",

"Who thinks the children of migrant workers should go back to Mexico? the GOP" - etc. etc. etc.
