best birthday weekend EVER!

Yep. It's true. Drew and I had a spectacular birthday weekend together and it was so nice of the seven or eight thousand pervs to join us down on Folsom street yesterday. My 40th birthday was an affirmation of where I'm headed - and it reconnected me with several close friends from all over. The great thing is that there was no drama all weekend! Drama-free birthdays rock!

I showered the tattoo this morning - and it's really intense how I can FEEL it on me. I'm so glad I made this choice - and got myself marked. It'll help me remember my 40th birthday for the rest of my life.

Pete pulsecub is in the other room snoring off REAL BAD.... He's been a great houseguest.

I'm off to tiptoe through the tulips to the office.

I don't have a tattoo, but I'll remember my 40th birthday for the rest of my life. It was the day my mom sent me "Just for Men" beard dye to cover the grey in my beard. Gee, thanks, mom.

Bob, thank you so much for having me in your home this weekend. You and Miss Kate both made me feel very welcome. I truly enjoyed going to dinner with you and your posse on Saturday evening; the sushi was just as yummy as the men-in-attendance!

Breakfast at Kate's Kitchen was delish! I'm so glad you introduced me to the French Toast Orgy! That's my new favorite place for breakfast now. :)
