Kateydog is resting at the Pet ER in the Sunset - and I'm home - having a big glass of red wine and a plate of riccottapastacaloricexplosion.^tm that I just threw together out of the fridge. I'll check on Kateydog before bedtime - and then go get her in the morning. Thanks to everyone that called, or emailed, or commented. Hearing all your voices when I got home really meant a great deal.

Our prayers are with both of you. Pancreatitis is, alas, a problem with Kateydog's branch of the terrierist tree -- we've been warned that miniature schnauzers are prone to it as well.

I know how you feel. I've had to put a dog down, and even when you know that it's the right thing, it's difficult to do.
