It's a deal. Now I just have to work on "when". Maybe I'll get a group together - kinda "gay east meets gay west" and do the whole touristy thing with me as their agent rep....... hmmmmmmmm

OMG OMG meant to tell you I made this for the kids... only difference was I Chinese poached the chicken tenderloins (5lbs worth) beforehand... then followed your recipe.

The poaching method makes sure the chicken is done so you can cook the "outside" however you want and it's still done inside - tender and juicy...

They loved it.

You rock, Robert.

wow... not often I leave someone speechless... did you post a blank reply on purpose?

Oh wait... I bet there is a pic or something embedded that I can't see here, isn't there? Stoopid work blocking things. I'll comment more appropriately when I can get home and see whatever is here :)

it is a youtube embed of the cooking show segment of mine that teaches the buttermilk cashew kitchen

From: [identity profile] dendren.livejournal.com
yeah... once I thought about it a second I realized it had to be youtube or something like it. I'll definitely check it out tonite from my non-youtube blocked home :)

oooooooh, are you in the bathtub in this one like that other video? ummmm... you know, from what I hear naked cooking shows are about to become the new black... you could be a trend setter!

(heh... can't say I didn't try ;)

ok, fine... you got me. I'm not into tag team cooking at all. I want people out of my kitchen and I want them out now.

Other tag team events tho... yeah, no teasing there ;)

Hmmm.... This is very tempting even though normally I would resist the buttermilk thing. But I'm entertaining a friend this week, so this may be just the ticket!

You don't say what temperature to put the oven at, however... I'm guessing 350?

Date: 2007-10-29 05:45 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] low-fat-muffin.livejournal.com
350 for 45 minutes - then under the broiler (carefully) to give it a crispy ness.

Perfect. Now, how about a wine selection? I'm thinking a Hogue Chardonnay might be economical yet tasty.

something super light - because the nutty buttermilk flavor is intense and you wouldn't want to compete hard. :)

Why oh why do you torture me with photos of yummy food when I cannot cook!!!

all it takes is a phone call - and I'd cook for you - all you have to do is ask, love! I love cooking for my friends....

Great little post by the way. And you are SO photogenic! Someone really needs to market Bob's Kitchen.
