So - every Friday - work randomly selects an employee to get a "gift pack" from an advertiser. Sometimes it's a Gortex^tm camping jacket or a gift certificate to SiteforSoreEyes^tm. This week's prize - my name came out of the hat - and it was a pink pack from Go Girl Energy Drink^tm. Pink water bottle, pink mousepad, a 6 pack of cherry koolaid with a battery acid chaser Go Girl Energy Drink, and this striking bright pink Go Girl shirt.

I'm off to meet joebehrsandiego and his gaggle of bears for a museum stroll at the Deyoung. I'm going in my new Go Girl shirt. strutting my inner go-girl.... (or not so inner depending on your point of view)

The reason Go Girl is such a cool sponsor though? part of their dollars go to breast cancer research. so - next time you're feeling like grabbing that afternoon latte? reach for "an icy cold GoGirl^tm and feel instantly revitalized." well thats what the can says anyways.

Dinner last night was spectacular here at the Beardello. I made Keith your vodka sauce pasta and the chicken....yum yum! Next time we make it Keith wants me to experiment with pistacios instead of cashews....but its a winner no matter what.
