Katey The Cow and other topics

I think my dog used to be a cow. When we go to Duboce Park - she just starts GRAZING. LoL! I wonder if they have any Park Grass Anonymous meetings I could take her to? We had a lovely walk this morning - - a picture postcard perfect fall morning. I got back from the gym (treadmill a-go-go!) and as the sun hit the windows - I was toweling off from the shower and Katey started doing her "Lets Go Daddy!" Dance. (i'll have to film that sometime) It's a combination buttwiggle and rolling around on the floor in a complete tizzy. She really gets into it - so that by the time I'm dressed she's barking and circling at my feet. We stopped in at BeanThere for coffee - then walked up to Alamo Square and hung out with the schnauzer posse for a little while -- then made the turn home stopping through Duboce Park (which is all torn up in the "redesign") - and now we're at home cuddled up in the window. The neighbor just took her pug "Luigi" out for a walk and Kate got all barky/growly. She doesnt care much for pugs. I wonder what that's about? But get Miss Kate around a lab? particularly black labs? and she's all swoony/sniffy and playful. Go figure.

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY! Today is going to be solid deadlines at work - but I'm going after work to see THE REDUCED SHAKESPEARE COMPANY presents "THE COMPLETE WORD OF GOD (abridged)". Due to the length, producing a stage version of the Old and New Testaments could present a challenge. Which is why the Reduced Shakespeare Company's "The Bible: The Complete Word of God (Abridged)" is so useful -- they "cut out minor characters and get right to the sex and killing." This show should be a GIANT hoot - and I'm going with my boss and her husband. (serious drinky attack afterwards)

Excellent! I saw a local group here do it and it wasn't that great, but I blame the performers for that, not the material. It should be great with the original folks doing it.
