double the fun....

Miss Kate woke me up this morning at 515am. She beat the alarm by a full fifteen minutes - a full on LICKASSAULT^tm! She plays this game when she knows I'm awake but I am keeping my back to her on the bed. I can feel her circling - waiting to pounce. then I fake rolling over in my sleep and she pounces. LICKASSAULT!^tm By the time I get my jeans on and a tshirt - she is in total we'regoingtogoouttizzyfit - - and we go out. But she knows on gym mornings - that I'll give her kibble and head off to the gym - and then be back around 715 to shower - and take her out for walk II. (morning coffee and a walk to Duboce Park) She is even MORE excited when I get out of the shower - she dances at my feet and follows me around the apartment as I get dressed. Then she bolts for the door - usually bellowing out a big happy WOOF. this morning - Junior was at the coffeeshop. Junior is a LARGE mix of pitbull and something else - he's got a soft face. and well, Junior and Miss Kate have a crush on one another. Junior's owner, Steve, chugs on a cigar outside the coffee shop and watches Miss Kate while I go get fuel. This morning when I came out - Junior is on the sidewalk - and Miss Kate is snugggled in next to him like they'd just spent the night together. It was hysterical. Junior pops right up and says Hi - and Miss Kate starts doing the circle dance. I do love my mornings and the dogs - and my neighbors. Miss Kate is off to the beauty parlour this weekend - to make her as pretty for Junior as possible.

now i'm off to catch the train to work - ciao.

Sounds like you have a great family life. Me, I'm not a pet person. I have enough to do to take care of myself. If I go the pet route, it has to be a creature that is far lower maintenance than a canine (despite how adorable they can be). I'm glad it works so well for you!

I know how ya feel. Cooper and Yuki have become my best friends.

Cooper does his own version of a LICKASSAULT (tm). He gets in my face, and waits until he sees me open my eyes, then out comes the toungue!
