I have tickets to the San Francisco Symphony tonight at 8pm - 7th Row

They are playing Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony.

The only flight I could find arrives in Oakland at 9 p.m. So I'm thinking that's a no... Sowwy.

ahh what a sweetheart.

It was last minute - and most of my symphony going type friends here in the city already had plans or are "in for the evening" already. so I guess I'll go on my own. There is always the consolation prize of dessert at the Opera Cafe afterwards.

I'd love to join you, however distance is a bit of a challenge.

I love my Russian composers; in fact, the last concert I saw there was of Rachmaninov. It proved to be a very romantic evening!
