for those of you on my journal list that don't share Ray [livejournal.com profile] profkampf and Jim [livejournal.com profile] poohbearjim on your lists....

Please keep Ray and Jim in your thoughts. Jim left us yesterday after a long hard battle. These kinds of things are always intense - and felt in so many different ways. Just send Ray some energy tonight before you go to sleep - just let him know that there are folks all around him near and far. and wish Jim a safe journey. He'll be missed - and we'll have Ray to support in the path he has before him. Things like this are just rough - - and Ray could use any extra energy you might have to send his way.

I'm sorry for your loss, but appreciate the update. A load shared is a load lightened. I'll be sure to make some positive energy available for all those involved who need it.

While I lose a friend - I am more concerned about Ray - and sending energy HIS way. This is so totally not about me..... send it all Ray's direction.

Has Ray asked for energy?

well energy/positivethoughts/etc - are never a bad thing to send someone... and when you lose someone like Ray has - a stockpile of positive energy is never an unwelcomed thing don't you think? Everyone deals in their own way - and mine? is sending Ray some extra energy - and positive thought. and wish Jim the safest of journeys to whatever is next - a journey we'll all have to make sooner or later. I love these guys - and am just crushed to see it all end this way. I had hoped when Jim was first diagnosed that it would be beatable. (I am a testicular cancer survivor myself) - so - when they moved to Palm Springs for hospice - and particularly the last few weeks of Ray's reports. well - the transition was inevitable. So a little extra energy can't hurt -

I understand, and I agree that sharing love, light, and positive energy is never a bad thing. I only ask to choose the best way to provide the energy he needs without breaking any of the vows I took.

Thanks for bringing the need to my attention.

yours in love and light,

BB.

Names on my Ganesha altar, candle lit, prayers done, and heading to bed now to send meditation energy...

Glad you posted this. I don't know these men. But every thought counts at times like this.

You are a good man.

I am sorry for your loss, and I know that the world is diminished by the passing of anyone you would call friend. I know you said this isn't about you, but I hope you are blessed in direct proportion to the blessings you bring to others.

It is always hard to say goodbye. I hope that your friend will find a little glint of sunshine during this sad time when he knows that others who do not know him are keeping him and his partner in their hearts, prayers, and positive energy.

I've been watching the story of Ray and Jim unfold, while strangers to me they still are entwined with all suffering humanity. Sending vibes of strength to Ray and to you Robert may Jim's Spirit soar free- on eagles wings!

Thanks for pointing these guys out, Robert.

Unsurprisingly I'm crying right now. I recognize a lot of the words written there. Ray is in my thoughts, even though he'd never know me from a hole in the ground.

you'd be surprised how wonderful holes in the grounds are - and how I try to know them
thank you

Thank you for the specific mention of Ray. My thoughts are with him; as others have said it's really impossible to know what that's like without have gone through it onesself (as you have).
