Tonight is my annual champagne tasting and appetizer party. I'm so excited! I've been cleaning and arranging - and the Wine shop just delivered. We'll be sampling some yummy bubbly - and I ordered Pelligrino for those that aren't drinking. Everyone is bringing their favorite appetizer which means my bed will turn into a buffet - YAY! I'll be sure to post pictures - I'm getting everything ready - and making sure they is plenty of chatter space. I'm expecting 20-30 folks over the course of the evening. I am so excited to keep this personal tradition going. There will be Glen Miller and Tommy Dorsey playing - and plenty of picture taking done. Nothing better than having your friends over for a lovely evening.

Tomorrow morning - I'll be heading over to Treasure Island to do a dog walk with [livejournal.com profile] bikerbaer and Gary and Gary's dog Boomer. Miss Kate likes big dogs - I don't have any idea where she learned that from. Then I'm off to see My Fair Lady at Foothills College with Tom.

so I'd best get my rest in this afternoon - because its Warp 20 from then on!

Warp 20? Don't be ridiculous. That kind of speed is impossible without slipstream technology.

Dr. Richard Daystrom would disagree.... :)

Oooh, nice bluff! But a bluff it is. Daystrom was (will be) an expert in computers and artificial intelligence, not interstellar navigation.

Yes, but The Traveler can manipulate time and space and helped Kosinski in his tests to make warp propulsion faster then what was seen before.

But Warp 10 is infinite speed, and everything is just a .999999999 towards that maximum limit.

Granted, it appears that was grandfathered in during the ST:TNG era, but it's true, 'cause I saw it on TV and read it in a book. Really!
