I love parties!!

the party was a huge success... see above a plate of chicken livers wrapped in bacon, puff pastry with mushrooms and walla walla sweet onions, crab stuffed jalapenos, Salmon cakes, and the show stopper - stained glass carmelized brie.... it was devine! and all but a bottle of the champagne was consumed! YAY!³

All said and done - and I'm about to head to bed. So full. Enjoyed my own champagne with Miss Kate while cleaning up.

Do you know Pete (left picture two) and Wayne (left picture one) from bikerbear circles? Wayne (softtail) does a lot of rides - and Pete and Wayne are both Rainbows. It was a great, great evening.

Aside from the fact that Wayne was wonderful at my birthday party last year, he did an absolute amazing thing at QBT.

I was in the middle of din-din, and Mean Gene had to get up to get more drink. He asked, in passing, if I needed anything.

I have a stock answer for that, which is more or less a joke: "Bring me back a longhaired biker whose pissin' in his duds.

Gene got up, and about a minute later, here comes Wayne. He stops right in front of me and lets go of a full bladder in a pair of new jeans he was breaking in.

Fortunately I had my camera. Took lots of close-ups. Made my day.

And did you know that Pete is from Bangor, ME? I grew up about 60 km north of Bangor; and after University, I lived in Bangor for nearly 10 years. There's more than just one "Mainiac" Rainbow ;)

We've been trying some new drinks. However, they make Curtis fall down, which means they're not a hit. (For him.)
