It is indeed. And, as I discovered a few years ago in Italy in late April (it was in bloom absolutely everywhere), it has a heady cinnamon-like scent.

OHHHHH!, that's lovely. The Wisteria is in full bloom around here too and it's great. I love spring, especially around here. It's such a splash of color. Thanks!

reminds me of my mother...and consequently my childhood.
In East Texas, though, it only seems to last about a week and a half. But, when it is in full bloom, there is a lot of it around.

Hey, we have a "Wisteria House" just down the street from us. But, it's a 1920s wood frame house, so I guess it's not the same place.
