I called the prospective roomy and asked for the room. Cross your fingers, please!! This could be a really great move for me financially, socially and would reduce my stress level a great deal.

I had a similar experience when I found my apartment in Philadelphia 11 years ago. I saw the place, fell in love with it, knew I could get along with the person who would be my roommate. I think I did wait overnight, but I knew the hunt was over. A year later, when I needed a roommate, the same thing happened. The first guy to look at it liked it, we got along well. In no time at all, we were roomies.
