So - the treasure island apartment. The potential roommate started emailing me around 2pm yesterday -

- "I'll need your deposit in cash when you get here."
- "You'll need to lock your dog in your room when you are not here."

by 4pm

- "I'll need your deposit plus first and last month's rent when you get here in cash"

by 5pm

- "I need you to move in by May 15th - not June 1st - so I'll need your deposit plus half of May's rent, plus first and last month's rent when you get here in cash"

by 6pm

Dear TI apartment owner - I've decided that coming by and seeing your apartment is not in
my best interest. Good luck on your search.
