when I am sick - I'm a miserable bastard to be around. I made it at work till about 11am until I finally decided that my valiant attempt at going to work was futile. (and I was pushed and encouraged to go home by [livejournal.com profile] bukephalus on chat.) I came home and collapsed and slept till 3pm - walked miss Kate to the store for some gatorade and soup - then slept for a couple of more hours. About an hour ago - my fever broke and I got all sweaty - and (this is how food poisoning works) I'm feeling 300% better. I'm going to pour a bath and have a nice long soak in a eucalyptus bubble bath. thanks for all the notes and emails. B is for BLEH! at least I'm one day closer to the move - and my body demanded some rest. thats a good thing at least.

Sweet baby, I'm so glad you are feeling better. One might think you were purging yourself in preparation for a beautiful new life in your new place. One might think . . .

I'm so excited and happy for you and the darling Miss Kateydog!

Foot poisoning? Poor guy.

Is that what it is? I'm sorry, sweetie. But the good thing is (at least in my experience) that you usually get over it pretty quickly.

Interesting new icon. You look like Laura Dern's mom in Wild At Heart.

Just remember, immodium is your friend. (as are adult pampers if the immodium doesn't work!)

remind me to tell you my adult pampers story.... ugh! LOL!

on top of it - my allergies are high gear and my ears are plugged. what a mess!

I am still excited to move tomorrow - I just need to take it easy at the offic eotday and do the bland food shuffle. I slept near 12 hours yesterday - my body obviously needed the recharge.

Uh Yup!. White rice cooked in excess water is good. Be sure to drink the rice water as well (sweeten it if you need to and add a drop or two of vanilla) If you can stand the idea of rinsing out your sinuses, Longs and possibly Walgreen have a nasal rinse kit put out by NeilMed. Morgan and I both use it and it is very good once you get over the shock of using it. If you need it, the original formulation of Sudafed is still available, you just have to ask for it at the pharmacy counter. I'll be available after noon tomorrow and I'll check with Morgan to see how he is holding up.
