damnit. THis morning I was doing Dips (you know how I love them!) at the gym and I felt a blood vessel in the palm of my left hand pop. I let out a classic girly scream and nearly fell off the dip bar in the middle of the gym in front of everyone. Holy shit this hurts! I iced it once I got home and I'm icing it here at the office - but manohman did it smart! the whole right side of my palm is blue and black. So now I can say I've suffered my first gym "injury" :( I didn't think I've been gripping the gym equipment too tightly - and I'm still in the 180 range so my weight hasn't changed that much. I am anal-retentive about good "form" and wasn't leaning any 'new' way or anything... Any tips from other gym goers as to how NOT to let this happen again - besides "Don't do that?"
