My weekend officially begins at 5pm on Thursday.

David is going to take the day off and I think we're going to go hit the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. Yay!³

we'll see if we make it down to Monterrey - I'm trying to convince David to take a day off and not plan anything. simply lay around in bed all day - read to one another - go find fun food and take dog walks. Get us both to just STOP for a day. (but then he said back to me - well - we could go to the Aquarium on Friday then stop on Saturday. (giggle) thats my man.....

Yeah, as Robert says, the Monterrey Bay aquarium is fantastic. The jelly fish and other stuff are quite amazing.

Not that I'm speaking from experience but the Monterey Bay Aquarium is a great place to be high or having taken mushrooms. But I don't know that first hand.

Yay! congrats on a day off!

Let me know what the aquarium is like, if you do go. I've been down to Monterey before, but didn't have the opportunity at that time. If you get to stay in bed, and enjoy some peaceful down-time with David, that's even better. And if David can't get the time off, you should do what ever your heart desires. I like your idea (mentioned in a later response) of not planning anything at all.

I'm taking Friday off and will be riding my motorcycle to the VKMC campout in the Sierra foothills this weekend.
