Kateydog wasted no time claiming the new chair... we re-arranged a bit, taking up the "dance floor" wooden rug temporarily and putting down the coloured square rug to give the new reading area a splash'o. I can see when I'm not actively reading and relaxing that Miss Kate will be in that chair. Then her bed is all set up next to it for when David is here and will want to sit there and read. I really love the new chair... it's used, of course, and has a small stain (that I think I can take out with some stain remover). But I'm digging a $200 chair for $50 - - and I can always buy a new cushion set when I want to.

At rehearsal - the director and I had a good chat and he apologized for out-of-hand last night's rehearsal felt for me - and he said he didn't take pictures of my couple from the play - because the photographer had to go. He said that in the same situation he would have felt precisely the same way. I think we're going to be fine.
