A local advertising initiative for water savings played on the radio recently - so I went to their website - http://www.watersavinghero.com. It says "Two consecutive record-dry winters throughout California have resulted in the greatest threat to our water supplies in nearly 20 years, prompting the governor to declare a statewide drought. Your local water provider can help you reduce water consumption. Learn how you can be a Water Saving Hero!"

Well - being responsible citizens David and I poured over it to find ways could save water - and there on the list was a remarkable item. "Take shorter showers" - and what better way to take shorter showers than to shower together! So - David Goldberg and Bob McDiarmid - Water Saving Heroes! Who knew being environmentally friendly and being political activists could be so simple! and we're so CLEAN afterward!
