Rainbow Subscription Night at the Opera House
Taken at 730pm at sunset from my balcony earlier this evening

Tonight was the "rainbow series night" for the latest offerings by the Opera House. and each show when it's "rainbow night" - they light up the Opera House with the gay pride flag colours.

The Rainbow Series provides patrons in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community with an opportunity to see world-class operas and meet new opera-loving friends at the same time. With social activities, receptions, and events surrounding each of the series performances, Rainbow subscribers get to experience opera not only as an art form but also as a social and community celebration.

It was beautiful to have a toast with David out on the balcony tonight after our night out at theater and have the Opera House all lit up.

We went to the Golden Gate to see Chaz Palmenteri in "A Bronx Tale" - it was wonderful! It is no wonder the show was such a hit on Broadway and then got made into a film. He is quite the storyteller!

and now I'm settling in for a rare weekdaynightsnuggle^tm considering the adorable boyfriend lives in Palo Alto. :) Yay!³
