i'm glad to have listened through the debate tonight - it makes me even more sure that Obama is the right choice. McCain put on such a fake performance - saying "friends" before every answer like he has anything in common with the average voter. I thought Obama was very sure of himself - and even when I thought he was going to "oops" - (his comments about McCain singing bomb,bomb Iran) - he managed to pull of a mistake-less debate. Anything short of a whole new look at McCain, anything short of a blowout performance by McCain was a gigantic failure. He failed miserably. I thought McCain looked tired - angry, contemptuous at his opponent and simply so last century on almost every single issue. We'll continue to see Obama gain in the polls - as people stop listening to his vice presidential candidate on the stump speeches. The only folks showing up for Sarah Palin - are the republican base - they are not deciding this election.
