Congratulations Barack Obama!

Never before when the presidential election is decided have I heard car horns blare - people screaming "Obama Won!" from their cars driving down the street. I'm upstairs in my apartment and I can hear chants of "o-ba-ma" and "yes we can" echoing through the streets of San Francisco. It is pretty exciting!

Unfortunately for you, President-Elect Obama - due to the state of our nation both at home and overseas - it is now time to get to work to make that change we believed in a strong, visible and internationally undeniable reality.

Now to stop obsessing over single digit return numbers for Prop 8 and try and settle down and get ready for bed.
