Many years ago they used to hold a county-western night at the Gay 90's. One of my favourite memories from that time was when I guy I had just met told me, while we were dancing, "You can lean on this strong arm." Soooo Rhett Butlerish!

its stompede weekend so it was a superpacked dance floor. :) but our sweaty bods stuck together. I love dancing with David so much!

There's about a dozen Albuquerqueens there this weekend, mostly from the Desert Heat dance performance team. I'm sorry we have to miss it this year. Last year, we had an exceptionally good time there, enjoying meeting huge amounts of new folks, dancing our feet off, and occasionally being able to squeeze onto the dance floor for the evening events.

I've been youtubing new line dances. Amazing, I live in hickville, but nobody line dances around here any more. I have to drive 2 hours to get my country fixins. *sigh*
