Miss Kate was sick of the paparazzi - this last shot was the only decent one of her all day long!

I LOVE walking round Botanical Gardens... I think you'd LOVE the ones here in Sydney - RIGHT in the middle of the city, next to the Sydney Opera House and Harbour!

And the trees full of Fruit Bats are amazing too! :-)

we both did - every five weeks :) We had a great day out wandering yesterday. It reminded me of the long wanders I used to take on the BurkeGilman trail in Seattle.

I remember when they tore out the rails for the Burke Gilman...my grandmother lived less than a block from it near Children’s Hospital in the Hawthorne Hills neighborhood.

we explored parts of the park I'd never walked through before - it's true immensity is really masked sometimes. David and I just looked at each other and decided it was too beautiful of a day not to spend it outside. :) Were you boys wanderin' too?

Yeah - we rode the motorcycles over to the Academy of Science so we could see the rainforest exhibit during member's hours (still crowded but not jam-packed like it was a few hours later.) Wandered there for a few hours, then through the park for a bit, then over to 9th Ave. for lunch, then home again so's I could bake him his birthity-day cake. NOM nom nom nom nom...

wow - we prolly crossed paths at some point. We walked by the Academy - and saw the giant lines. David is thinking he wants to wait till it's not such a long que. We had a truly lovely time.
