Our relationship took a giant step forward today - - we went to BB&Beyond and bought a coffee maker and a toaster together for Dave's home.



toasted bagels and coffee here we come. I figured after nearly 8 months together - it was okay to suggest we make this purchase together. :) It demonstrates how little Dave eats at home when I'm not around that he had neither of these already. (chortle)

its a 4 cup maker - I do love my coffee. David bought me a bag of Hawaiian Kona (he reads my blog) and we'll test it out in the morning. I really do try to limit myself to two (gargantuan) cups per morning. then the occasional afternoon cup. Any coffee after 6pm and I become very annoying come bed time. I want to chat - and David is very serious when it comes to bed time. Bed time is not for chatting - it is for sleeping - almost instantaneously. (giggle)

there is plenty of time for "that" believe me - thats actually one of the most enriching parts of our relationship, we're still going at one another like it's the first date. but when Dave decides it's time to go to sleep - he can go from awake to deep sleep in microseconds - whereas I'm a light sleeper and a take a while to turn my brain off from the day's activities.
