They came first for Hawaii's Constitution.
And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Hawaiian.

Then they came for Utah's Constitution
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t living in Utah;

Then they came for Georgia's Constitution
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Georgian;

Then they came for Idaho's Constitution
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn't an Idahoan;

And then they came for me in California
and now that I've experienced discrimination thats undeniable?
I'm screaming mad, morally offended and demanding that everyone else be just as angry
Why aren't we hourly organizing marches and demanding equal rights for gays!?

Idaho, Georgia, Utah, Hawaii and 27 other states welcome you to the battle, finally....
the battle they've been fighting for more than a decade.
