Hot time on a winter afternoon!

thoreauSo it's 40 degrees with low fog and it's raining in San Francisco. What do to do!

I said in my best Price is Right voice "A NEW CAR!" and this is the picture I got

Tom put out a veggie platter and chocolates - David and I brought a delicious muscato bubbly - and a apple/cranberry/chocolate relish with ice cream. We had a grand time celebrating Tom's sixth month point in interferon treatment. He's doing so well - and his friends are working so hard to keep his spirits up; he's the best guy in the whole world and he has lots of plays to write and adventures to complete - so we're keeping him around for a long while more I think.
as for the Apple Relish? (a name I made up on the spot)(Oh Ms. Levy? "relish" is defined as "something savory or appetizing added to a meal; a smack, trace, or touch of something.") that we served with sorbets and icecream. (I baked apples, cranberries in splenda - then broiled them briefly after shaving dark chocolate over it; it turned out most yummy)
