saturday morning...

thoreauIt's been a quiet morning here - Miss Kate and I have been listening to Jane Monheit, Diana Krall and the new album of romantic standards by Queen Latifah. (yes, and it's beautiful!)
She took the IV fluids and her anti-nausea shot this morning with good graces - right now she's curled up on the bamboo rug (a favorite spot of hers) sleeping. All this has taken it's toll on the poor gal - - but we're hopefully going to pull right through. I've been sipping coffee - and reading the newspaper and chatting with John in NY. :) good day today.
all these shots posted above but for the bottom right were taken while laying around this morning... but the bottom right is my favorite photo of the goddess - so I put it in there for good measure
