SO - tonight- I presented four movies to David:
I was proud of my choices - wide variety and interesting - and I'd have been happy watching any of them.
Muffin: So which movie is it Doc?
David: While you were out I looked all four of them up on the internet and Steel Magnolias has the highest rating on Rotten Tomantoes - and since I haven't seen any of these movies - I'll go with their reccomendation.
Muffin: jaw drops - hits floor. Is there such a thing as a gay man that has NOT seen Steel Magnolias? LOL! I guess I have proof!
SO after a brisk walk of Miss Kate 'round City Hall - Dr. Dave, Kateydog, and I are snuggling in for a night of Weazy and the girls in the south planning a wedding. Yay!
- Mr and Mrs Jones
- Sex in the City the Movie
- Memoirs of a Geisha
- Steel Magnolias

Date: 2008-11-03 04:45 am (UTC)I saw Mr and Mrs Jones a while back. Sort of like "War of the Roses" and 'any James Bond movie' combined. Bang bang ouch ouch kiss ouch kiss.
Steel Magnolias is of course a fave of both of us, especially since we've been to Nacogdoches, where it was filmed (70 miles from where my family still lives in Lousyanna). I DO love you more than I love my luggage!
Geisha, although it's been on cable for quite a while has been a miss. It just sounds...boring.

Date: 2008-11-03 05:59 am (UTC)Being a theater queen - Steel Magnolias is a classic.
I'm sure you could come up with a few things that you think all gay men should do in their lifetime - that isn't on my set of experiences. (wink)
I hope you and Fish are doing well - - and lets all send NO on 8 some good energy. it'd be good to elect Obama AND send the fundies packing (albeit prolly temporarily)

"I find it amusing. Men are supposed to be made out of steel or something."
Date: 2008-11-03 06:19 pm (UTC)Truvy: Yeah, how did that go?
Clairee: Janice Van Meter got hit with a baseball. It was fabulous.
Truvy: Was she hurt?
Clairee: I doubt it. She got hit in the head.
