OMG - like -- so here I am this morning on my mac - and it says - "do you want to update n' stuff" - ya know? - so totally click yes - cuz - I have to be on the edge and stuff - like Becky? yah. her. omg. anyways - so I download it all right - and because my stuff is hyperspeed it takes like no time at all till i hear that cute little bing noise that tells my computer is totally done and stuff? so now I have Leopard. grr. (giggle) yeah - like a cute little leopard like those gay guys have in Vegas? only on the chips inside my mac. they're like soaking in it and stuff - ya know? So -- I try it out. and like I get my own Spotlight. uhmuhgawd. so cool. I can totally find my Britney Spears videos - including that freak that told us to leave her alone? yeah. ohmygod. freak uh zoid. anyway - yeah - we're talking geek stuff. so - when I typed "betch," Leopard found a PowerPoint presentation with a beach theme, a picture of my puppy and songs in my iTunes library by the Kelly. Omg she rocks - my brother says she's a boy - but I think he's a dickbrain. yeah. and so gross. Then - I totally played with the dashboard - and stuff. so I can see my Ram revving and stuff - a bitchin' world clock, a calculator - must. have. - , dictionary - cuz omg my spelling is the suck, translator - it can speak french but it totally can't get me a date and stuff, flight tracker - so I can see when my Mom and Dad are back so I can shut down my parties in time, weather updater - oh I know - so I can totally know - the right outfits... exactly grrrl, and metric converter - so we can totally see how much we weigh in like France and stuff.

oh - what?

You own a PC

- oh girlfriend? no -

You so totally need to go Mac.

I mean - just for the RSS Screen Saver.

What? RSS? Real Simple Shit -

I totally have Justin Timberlake's blog RSS'd to my mac - it was just a simple click away. I can totally peek at flying headlines from his blog and press keys to jump to it and stuff. You don't care? grrrl - of course you do - you're just a jealous PC betch. yes. I said you are a fat PC user. Betch.

I'd video conference your ass and tell you how lame you are - but you don't have a camera built into your machine. Hey - don't be all jealous and shit.

(dialtone)

Whatever...

not really being a steadfast Machead - I did get the wrong release didn't I? LOL - I changed the entry. It was more just a fun writing exercise. So I upgraded my post to Leopard. Thanks for the tip.

no worries! I have a PC and A mac on my work desktop. :) I'm bi-operatingsystem friendly :) so come sit next to me.

Robert - Still at the Ontario airport; between traffic and a less-than-brilliant SW staffer I missed my 11:55 flight. On standby for the 2:15; keep your fingers crossed that they have a seat for me.

Roy is getting in to OAK about 3:00 p.m., and if I do as well we will probably head over to SF together. My plans are flexible, but I did promise Dave/design_bear I'd meet him around 10:00 p.m.

I'll keep you posted as to my flight status.

Cheeks ups (facially) continuously for the length of time required to read twice begin to hurt.

I don't smile that broadly nearly enough!

Just so you know, Apple does not do version upgrades period! When you go from one version of OSX to another, you have to buy an entire new copy. (Unless you are a beta tester then, in theory, you get it for free.) What that Software Update item in the Apple drop down does is fetch and apply fixes, just fixes, no software updates. Well, somethings may technically be updated, but Apple just calls them fixes and if you started with Tiger, you remain with Tiger.

Leopard will arrive at the Apple Store downtown at 6:00 p.m. tonight (unless you pre-ordered it online, then who knows when it will arrive on your doorstep!)

I, like, totally don't know how you do it? This Valley-speak is like totally exhausting? I mean, without the interjections n'stuff, you could, like, say something in, like, half the time and not make everything sound like a question?

Y'know..?

No, wait! You're channeling a Valley Girl!
Oh, dear gods, it's worse than that... You are a Valley Girl trapped in a bear's body!

Eeeeeek!

What do you think so far? David (the better half) pre-ordered Leopard and was kind enough to drop it off at my office so I can sit here and drool on the box all afternoon.

I can hardly wait to go home and get my upgradin' on!

I actually am not upgrading - work won't fork out the cah-sh. but - it was a real fun writing experiment. I used an actual cnet review to base the use of the new tools on.
